Tonight I had the opportunity to see TED 2, a sequel that a lot of us have been waiting for since TED 2. Filled with tons of adult humor, Seth MacFarlane does it again! He makes this cutesy, cuddly teddy bear so vulgar, yet, TED is so hard NOT to love! I don’t really remember much of the first one since I saw it once and a long time ago, but the second one was quite entertaining! My manager at Maker Studios reserved for me two tickets to an advanced screening of TED 2 at iPic Theatre in Westwood.
I actually have seen the last ten movies at iPic, and it might just be a coincidence but my friends and I have been living the #GLAMLIFE lol. In case you have never heard of iPic, it’s a luxury theatre so you have full living room massage chair style chairs that recline and you get a pillow and a blanket. You get unlimited popcorn and you also have a waitress and you can order food and beverages! I got truffle fries this time and splurged a little! They were delicious!
Since the movie was a screening and a sponsored event by Maker x NBC Universal, we got the cutest little TED stuffed animals and T-shirts with TED’s character on it. The movie is overall a lighthearted comedy with a bit of suspense. There were many parts where I thought something would happen, and then the opposite happened. Overall, I liked it, but I think I liked Jurassic World better lol. I saw it last week at iPic as well! But in 3D! I am not so much into the 3D glasses as much because my lashes hit the glasses and I feel like it makes me a bit dizzy! I think it has the same effect when it’s not in 3D lol.. Less distracting for me without the glasses on me!
If you have access to an iPic near you, I would definitely try it out. I am seriously addicted to those theaters and I haven’t gone back to a regular theater since then! Hope you guys are loving my #glamlife blog entries too! love you!
